I'll definitely be able to start and/or add to the TMNT thread once it starts. There's no way I'm not seeing that movie this weekend. It's like 1990 all over again (minus Corey Feldman's voice talents)!
As a matter of fact, I am looking forward to seeing COLOR ME KUBRICK and FIRST SNOW, but friday, I'll be first in line for the TURTLES.
COLOR ME KUBRICK looks especially interesting since the director was a close friend of Stanley Kubrick and he was assistant director on Kubrick's BARRY LYNDON and THE SHINING, so he knows the subject matter quite well.
The New Yorker gave this a relatively positive review -- Anderson's now an established "darling." The film is ho-hum. Anderson needs to break out of his teenage sensibility and mature to real film-making.
