| #1 Posted on 6.9.04 1806.11 | Instant Rating: 8.00 | Hello! I had a customer at my video store who was looking for a movie -- she can't remember the title -- and I can't figure out which movie it is.
1) It's about a woman and her gay friend, and a man and *his* gay friend, and they all meet and some or all of them hook up. (She says that it is not the Madonna / Rupert Everett film.)
2) It has an actor in it who "played the 'evil boss' in 'Will & Grace.'" She doesn't know the name of the actor. I've never really watched the show, and I have no idea which boss is the "evil boss" or who plays him.
Any ideas, anyone? Thanks for your help, in advance.

ETA: Actually, I don't think Aniston has a girlfriend in that movie...

The movie MIGHT be Things You Can Tell Just By Looking At Her, but I can't guarantee it.

Didn't see the show enough to notice whether Gregory Hines was "evil" (and I consider Megan as Karen to play a doof more than an evil boss).
Gregory Hines was in The Preacher's Wife, which struck me as a romantic comedy, which isn't what you're asking about so I guess I'll move on now.
Edit: Or I can be a couple of minutes late and pointing at the wrong movie. :)

| #6 Posted on 7.9.04 0449.42 | Instant Rating: 8.00 | Thanks for the suggestions, guys. The plot to "Affection" seems closest, but somehow not close enough.
I did some poking through IMDB and I think All Over the Guy (us.imdb.com) is the closest match I can find plot-wise (the gender proportions look right; I should've specified *male* gay friends in my original post).
Again, no one from "Will & Grace" is in it, but the customer could very well be confused, or IMDB might not have a complete cast list for "W&G."
Any chance anyone's seen it?

Actually, I was going to suggest "All Over the Guy" (really, I swear!). Adam Goldberg (us.imdb.com) is in the movie, and, according to tvtome.com, he once played an evil boss-type character on "Will and Grace".

God, I've seen all the Will & Grace's waaaaaaaay too much.
