FANTASTIC FOUR 2 is set in stone. The whole cast will return with one exception... no DOCTOR DOOM! This is a good thing.
The XMEN 3 teaser is up online, I'm sure you've seen it once or twice already and had the same reaction as I did... "Well, it doesn't look THAT bad, I suppose."
Stephen Sommers FINALLY has a new film to work on (HAHAHA!). WHEN WORLDS COLIDE! This if funny because he's already walked away from the movie once before.
CHIPS is 'still' going to be made into a feature film even though DUKES OF HAZZARD bombed as well as BEWITCHED. Wilmer Valderrama has signed on for the Erik Estrada roll.
There's gonna be a GRUDGE 2 and Sarah Michelle Gellar will has signed on for it. I didn't think the first one did all that well here.
Live action is dead... long live animation! Seemingly giving up on the live action Dr. Seuss films, HORTON HEARS A WHO, due out in 2008, will be all CGI.
So I guess 'books' are the new '80s Tv Shows'? The INKWELL by Cornelia Funke is being made into a film in hopes of starting a 'new franchise' to mine for New Line.
SCARY MOVIE 4 has added Carmen Electra, Leslie Nielson, and Simon Rex to it's cast.
I, personally, like the movie WHITE NOISE, but there is NO NEED for a sequel. Too bad the company that made WHITE NOISE don't see it that way. WHITE NOISE 2 is filming now for a release late next year.
CAVEMAN, the not all that classic comedy from 1981, is being remade with Tom Arnold, David Carradinne, and Ali Larter who needs to fire her agent.
Tim Burton is trying to talk Jim Carey into playing cartoonist Robert Ripley in a biopic titled BELIEVE IT OR NOT... I'll believe it when I see it!
EDIT: Don't know WHY the hell I typed 'John' instead of 'David'. Call me Ishmael... err stupid. YEAH, stupid!

Tom Arnold only has like one scene in it, just a cameo.
There's no John Carradine in it either. David Carradine (Bill of Kill Bill) plays Mookoo, the father of the main character, Isho (played by writer and director, Adam Rifkin).
The movie itself is a throwback to Woody Allen style comedy.
I don't see what's good about Fantastic Four...especially if Alba comes back. The most uninspired choice possible to play Sue Storm. I predict it will suffer from the Tomb Raider 2 syndrome, they got lucky the first time around. Plus the writer and directing team is the same. That's NOT good. It sounds to me like Julian McMahon just jumped from a sinking ship. | Tenken347

Most of these just sound boring, probably because they're just rehashes. I'm way more excited by the Hellboy cartoon you mentioned over in the tv news. | AWArulz

That's good, because I was thinking that would have beena really slow scene. Carradine (father of David and others), who was in a million great westerns as a character actor, passed back in '88.

I thought I read that Gellar will be in the movie just long enough to pass the torch to another actor to be terrorized. I think that means she'll die in the first 10 minutes and get a big check. | The Vile1

And I thought that Jessica Alba WASN'T going to do a FF sequel.
I while I like Micheal Keaton, I wasn't impressed by "White Noise" and no need for a sequel.

Well I didn't think Julian McMahon was gonna come back for a sequel anyways with the ending of the first one.
And I can understand sequels but there are some movies that are better without sequels and don't need them. White Noise is one and Scary Movie is another. I saw the first one and thought it was funny. Saw the sequels and I thought they were terrible. And I don't expect the 4th to be any better.
