Went to see this last night and was really, really entertained. I am not sure how Dreamworks keeps coming up with great scripts, but they do. This was a great story, with lots of laughs for both parents and kids.

The 3D effects were outstanding as well, and it was a lot more than just a few "hey, something's going to hit me" type of effects.

Highly enjoyable, and highly recommended!

The Mrs. and I took our kids to see this over the weekend. We weren't impressed. Sure, I chuckled a few times. But overall, it was pretty predictable and not all that funny.

Took my 3-year-old to see this (not in 3D). I really enjoyed it. Sure, it was nothing groundbreaking, but entertaining.

I'm sure that a sequel will be here in 2 or 3 years.

No 3-D in our local theater which bummed the kids out but they still enjoyed it (11, 9 & 3 1/2) - I checked my brain at the door and enjoyed a big box of whoppers - 90 minutes later we were out the door.....next ?

I KNOW! What the hell, Dreamworks?!

Either have it 3-D everywhere or not at all. My kids were bummed, and so was I. This happened with Coraline as well.

I liked it. The story was very predictable, but fun anyway.
I think my theater tried to compensate for the 3-D by turning up the volume really loud. I know it's been around a while, but I still marvel at computer animation and the things they can do. Each new film gets a little bit better visually than the last one.
