Apparently Gamestop and EB pick their copies up from the factory and do their own shipping, so preorders with them should be faster.
My wife is nearly through Prince of Persia: Sands of Time and now I'm not so sure that Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy will be getting a spin before MR4 shows up on our doorstep and we're jockeying for who gets to use the PS2. Dammit to hell, that's the same day as I'm supposed to pick up FFX-2. I'm afraid Monster Rancher is going to pick up dust before I get around to playing it.
EDIT: Hmm...the site you linked says that Gamestop should have it on the 14th. That'd give it a weekend of play before X-2 consumes my off time.
