I know there's some Monk-o-philes on here, and this is really sad news. He's been on a number of different shows, but I really knew him from "Monk." At least on "Monk," he was one of those guys who it felt like wasn't even acting, he was that good.
Damn, that sucks. I try to watch Monk when I can and I always found his character to be one of the most interesting. I wonder how they are going to adress this on the show, because it seemed that in the last couple of seasons, there has been an increased focus in the relationship between him and Tony Shaloub's character. RIP.
They switched the actresses who play his assistant pretty well. I'm sure they'll address the character briefly and move on. I love this show but I do fast-forward through some of the OCD stuff that goes on for a few minutes.
Turk's baby's birth, when JD got an actual marching band involved, was a threshold in terms of the insanity leaving JD's fantasies and becoming reality. I still don't understand what they were going for with that.
