It's a REALLY good DVD - they seem to hit all the major points and defections during the war, and even talk about signing over Luger, convincing Madusa to trash the women's belt, Foley winning the World title and WCW spoiling it, the Radicalz jumping, and all the other good stuff.

According to Amazon Canada, The Monday Night War is scheduled for a March 23, 2004 release. It's a bit unusual for a DVD to be released in the UK before Canada eh?

Vince McMahon being objective? That's something I gotta see. Three years after he bought out WCW, I still think he gloats about it.

Considering it was initially to be "The Rise and Fall of WCW", that's not surprising.

Flair coming out, hehe poor choice of words!
But yeah, I think these will be two solid pickups. At first I had just assumed that the Stone Cold DVD would be something silly or just WWF/E stuff. I never got to see any of the Foley ECW stuff and when I got the DVD I loved it so I'm interested in seeing Austin's ECW stuff. | Dexley's Midnight Jogger

It starts with the promo Anderson was cutting in the ring after Benoit, Malenko, McMichael and JJ Dillon had already come out. They let it run unedited, until...

And right after Flair says that, it fades out.
An awesome moment...big ups to WWE for putting it out in all its DVD goodness. I'll recommend The Monday Night War...nowhere near as kayfabish, Vince-saved-wrestling as I thought it'd be. But dammit, the Nitro Girls only show up on one menu's background! What the hell?

However, however, HOWEVER, the biggest piece of irony is that all the WCW stars say how bad WCW was at making the younger guys look good. They talk about the same guys being on top for too long and how since WWF was making new stars they were winning in the ratings. Look at today. Triple H same guy on top for sooooo many months/years. I actually gasped at the amount of times stars said all they needed to do was push younger guys.

They show Eddie's promo where he "quit" on nitro. Eddie comments that his promo was a shoot, that Eric had really thrown coffee on him...
makes me smile to think this Sunday Eddie is probably getting the title!
Alot of other "shoot"ish moments shown from the ding days of wcw with Jericho and others.
Bischoff comes across as having no regrets. Funny stuff with Eric on the whole Alundra Blayze angle...
