We are well aware of your want for PAL videos - but if nobody responded previously, posting more threads will not help you in your quest.
There are many other forums online that deal specifically with questions in regards to tapes. Perhaps your question would be better suited there.

I've never tried it, but since I have a video capture card on my computer, I've always kinda wondered if my VCR could play a PAL tape, and then just watch it on my computer (and then record and burn it to a NTSC VCD) since computers can obviously handle the extra height without going all vertical-holdy and black and white.
Of course, for all I know maybe they don't even fit in the machine, but it might be something to try if you or a friend has a computer that has a capture card.
