I used to listen to MNF on radio a ten years ago when it was Jack Buck and Hank Stramm. I'd blow off the tv sound and just crank up the AM radio. They were insightful, funny and the best football announce team I've ever heard.
I had to go out tonight so I listened to the new MNF team in the car, Marv Albert and Boomer Easiason and they were very good together. Marv is great as usual and he busts Boomer's chops enough to keep him in line (sometimes Boomer can come down with a serious case of Chris Collisworth-itis, often fatal to the listener). They made a blowout very listenable and entertaining. Check them out. Has anybody else heard them?

I heard them on my way home last night from work. I will say that it was odd to hear Marv Albert doing football, but I think they made a good combination. They were cracking me up when they were talking about Steve Spurrier when he went for the fourth and ten before the end of the half. They were calling him everyname in the book, especially reckless, and made jokes about how he was going to explain it after the game was over. I was entertained.
Washington is quietly becoming my favorite team. Any team that is willing to go for it on 4th and ten, you gotta love that. Sounds like something you do when you play madden with some of your buddies for bragging rights if you ask me.

It is to bad that nothing, and I MEAN nothing worked last night. But Spurrier's facial expressions were classic.
