Does anyone have any advice on which is the best one? I've read quite a few mixed reviews for the UFC ones.... Cheers in advance. Promote this thread!

Every person with a PS2 and even a passing interest in wrestling or MMA should own this game. No excuses. I used to have UFC Sudden Impact on the PS2. It was cheap, dated, pretty easy, and played just like the UFC game for the Dreamcast if that means anything to you. I made a pro-wrestler in the create-a-fighter mode, and made people tap to the figure-four. Fun enough for cheap, but I eventually traded it off. JK

A new one is supposedly coming out in late 2008 or 2009. Lloyd: When I met Mary, I got that old fashioned romantic feeling, where I'd do anything to bone her. Harry: That's a special feeling.

I'd say I have to agree with all of this. There really aren't any out there that play like an MMA fight. The latest Firepro game is the closest approximation as far as I can tell. There's also the newish PC game that Adam Ryland put together, but that's more of a booking/business/matchmaking type game as far as I could tell, though to be honest I haven't played it. I like the game, but I think it is a little too "twitch" heavy for me. Part of what I like about Halo and Perfect Dark (to a lesser degree Red Faction) is they reward you for playing strategically.
