I think he may have taken Manny Ramirez's title of Biggest Headcase in Baseball.

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Milton Bradley snapped. Then, aided by the horrendous Colorado Rockies' bullpen, the Los Angeles Dodgers pulled off perhaps their most improbable victory of the season.

Bradley was thrown out of the game after a fan threw a plastic bottle at him following his two-out error and subsequent RBI single by Brad Hawpe that capped a three-run, eighth-inning rally by the Rockies.

Bradley, whose temper led the Cleveland Indians to trade him to the Dodgers before the season, picked up the bottle, left his position and angrily approached the stands -- appearing to yell at a fan. He then slammed the bottle into the front row of the stands.

Several Dodgers players came out to right field and tried to calm down Bradley, who was arguing with umpire Jim Joyce and was ejected.

As Bradley walked from right field to the Dodgers' dugout, he took his jersey and hat off. With the crowd behind the dugout booing, Bradley gestured with palms up, urging the fans on.

Bradley was suspended for four games earlier this season following a temper tantrum in which he threw a bag of balls on the field after being ejected.

I've seen this story too, but no one seems to mention if the fan got carted off. I would be pissed off if someone threw a bottle at me. In rugby and cricket games, teams generally tell the officials they walk off if the crowd is throwing stuff at them and it doesn't stop. No one seems to think anything of it in this situation.

Milton Bradley doesn't have to win the title of "biggest headcase" from anyone. It's because he's a headcase that he got traded in the first place.

Last season there were other problems for Bradley, as he had run-ins with catcher Paul Lo Duca and Yankees first baseman Jason Giambi. Bradley also tossed his helmet and bat in the direction of umpire Bruce Froemming.

This past February, Bradley was given a three-day jail sentence for driving away from police after a speeding violation.

The topper then came in spring training when Bradley had a confrontation with Indians manager Eric Wedge. The skipper pulled Bradley from the exhibition game for not running out a pop up.

I give the guy credit, though. He's young, hopefully he can turn himself around.

There is a big difference between Bradley and Ramirez: Manny is just a flake who really has no clue what is going on around him and is just a happy go lucky rich guy who doesn't have a care in the world. Bradley is an angry person who has been run out of 2 organizations and probably is well on his way of departing a 3rd. Bradley is much more like Carl Everett than he is of Manny.

Apparantly, Milton's still a little bit pissed off and fired up about all of this.

Maybe he is just expressing his resentment for his parents for naming him Milton with the last name Bradley. I knew a guy named Ron McDonald who was always WAY pissed when someone called him Ronald. Call him a clown, and that was surely pressing his button!

But I digress...

You wouldn't start him in Game 7 (you'd start Pettitte), but you'd be guaranteed to have him for an emergency relief appearance if you needed it. You wouldn't have that guarantee the other way. So it was a risk-reward scenario:
