their older stuff is pretty good, though they did fall into the "ska riff" trap from time to time

Happy go-lucky skaters who sing in broken English.
Their riffage is fine, though, and they know how to write a catchy hook. And seeing as how everyone else in the world went all ska-nuts in the 90s, I don't hold it against them :)
