It looks like the career of one of my favorite NFL players is finally over. ( I have fond memories of watching him when he was at Purdue and was happy to see him do well in Tampa. I do find it surprising that he lasted as long as he did given the physical problems he had during his career. While I know a number of people who paint a less than flattering picture of him personally, I have to say that in my limited interactions he was always unfailingly nice and polite.

Thanks for the memories and enjoy your retirement.
