Lord knows I love this man, but he is a head case. That said, I think he will get to truly play at his natural position (the 4) on the Suns, and he hasn't had that opportunity since at least Miami, arguably not even there so he hasn't had a chance to get slotted reliably at the 4 since he joined the league. He doesn't play defense, so he's perfect for the Suns. ;-) But I would have hope that Gentry could coach Beasley, and something something miracle training staff something (I know nothing about the Suns' training staff but they were mentioned in EVERY blog post I read about this deal, so...in fact, almost everything here is just me repeating other people's blogs and opinions! But I do agree with them.)
Denver Nuggets Carmelo Anthony has agreed in principle to the maximum 5-year, $80 million extension that will keep him in a Nuggets uniform through the 2011-12 season. (Hard to believe we're approaching Back to the Future Part II, isn't it?)
