I saw Nebraska beat Army up at Michie Stadium 77-7 back in the early 70's - to their credit, the West Point Cadets never quit cheering all game

Surprisingly, Temple usually plays it close at home against Miami for a half. Blowout of the day will be Florida demolishing an Ohio University team that was shut out by 1AA Northeastern. I wonder if the scoreboards in the Swamp reach triple digits.

Thank you Mr. Wanz for the check, now you get an AWA World Title Reign. But be careful, my boy Greg is a heat machine.

Having been to the 1998 game at Veterans Stadium in South Philly, I can tell you that, yes, the game will likely be a blowout. What I can also tell you is that Temple fans are even less supportive of their team than Miami fans (but understandably so, as Temple's done far worse over the past decade than Miami has), so it's entirely likely that Miami fans will outnumber Temple fans at Franklin Field tomorrow. XD

As a Miami alumnus twice over (undergrad and law school), I don't know if it'll be as big a blowout as last year's Syracuse and Washington games were, but it'll be close. Seeing as how Temple's only victory against Miami came back in 1930 at an indoor game at the old Atlantic City Convention Hall (info from Miami Herald), I'm pretty sure the Canes will be extending their winning streak to 25 games as of Saturday afternoon - which will put them along some of the longest Division I-A winning streaks in football.

Enjoy the game!

If they don't win, I think they should be disqualified from National Title consideration for five years. Temple probably couldn't beat a mediocre junior high team.

You are psychic. Due to stupid Miami mistakes in the first half, like a bad snap for a punt and a fumble, at one point in the first half it was Miami was only up 21-14 and Temple had the ball. But Second half was all Miami.

So is Ms. Cleo , but I think the real blowout of the day was Penn State giving the Huskers a spanking like they haven't had in over a decade .
And apparently , there wasn't a need for that triple digit scoreboard in The Swamp after all .

Here is a prognostication for you , and with a guarantee .
Come 11 - 9 - 02 at Knoxville TN , for the Volunteers Homcoming , Miami gets beat . If they don't , I won't post here in the football forum ever again . And as an added bonus prognostication , if they lose to The Gators this coming Saturday , I won't ever post here again either .
Ms. Cleo wouldn't touch that with a stick .

Granted it was bold predictions , and I very well could be wrong , but I think if a person is going to make a prediction then they should be able to back it up .
You ever hear somebody say something like " I bet anything that Tennessee will win that game " and then when you ask them how much they are actually willing to bet , they say nothing , it was just a figure of speech , but I bet they will win . That is just something that has always peeved me .

You are a fortunate man to get an inside look into a program of that magnitude .

UT will beat the Gators, and they have the best chance of anyone to beat Miami before the Fiesta Bowl. But damn, I wish Kelley Washington would SHUT UP sometimes. He makes me want to see them lose.

Virginia Tech's running game will give Miami problems, and I don't think the Orange Bowl intimidates that team.
