There is a chance that USA and Mexico could face in the second round. Being a hispanic male born and raised here in Houston, who the hell am i supposed to root for!!! The obvious choice would be USA seing as how I lived in the states my entire life. Yet, a victory by the mexican team would mean so much more to the mexican people, including many of my relatives down south. Ahh, screw it. GO USA!!!!!!!!
Well this Canadian is cheering for my neighbors just south of me. Not because I have much love for U.S soccer, but an anti-vote for Mexico who laid down for 5 minutes and played for a draw against the hated Italians and keeping Italy in the tourney.
I don't get it, everyone loves rats, but they don't want to drink the rats milk?
When they decided to play for draw, Italy was a lock. They did that to avoid any unwelcome injuries or cards on either team. It didn't come off very well on TV at all. The ref crossing himself when he finally blew the whistle was the funniest damn thing ever, though.
Brown missed a practice earlier in the week because, as he told Coach Williams, he was too despondent over the Bills' poor season to get out of bed. Williams quite rightly benched his sorry ass for Saturday's game.
