YOMexican Coca Cola has been available in the local(Champaign-Urbana, IL)Meijer and County market stores in 500 ml bottles for about 3 years and at $1.59 a 16.9 oz bottle can be quite addictive. Recently the U of I campus County Market began stocking 12 oz bottles of the Mexican Pepsi Cola for $0.99 , and is a wonderful alternative to the Coke product. Wish It was sold in more stores.

Here in MN, we can get a 24 bottle (12oz) "case" at Costco for about $18.99.

Hey, it's online too for a bit more: http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product.aspx?ec=BD_115-EC20564-ProdID11036692&pos=0&whse=bd_115&topnav=bd&prodid=11234465&lang=en-US

Unfortunately for you, your nearest Costco looks to be over 100 miles away.

Yeah, we've had Mexican coke it in our local supermarkets for as far back as I can remember. I don't remember if our price is closer to CRZ's price or like DR DOG's price though.

The convenience store where I used to work also sold cases of Sundrop made from cane sugar sold in returnable glass bottles. Those get made by a local bottler in Shawano, WI. It was $13 a case (24 12oz bottles) + a $10 bottle deposit.

In the past year or two, it seems Mexican Pepsi in one-time glass bottles has found official distribution in some regions, I assume through the official bottlers (though the real Mexican grocers are still selling gray-market recycle bottles). Even though said bottlers are also producing their own "Throwback" sugar product.

Good for them either way. At least they give the consumers the option.

I'm sad I didn't see any at Schnucks.* The seem to be pushing Mexican Coke/Sprinte/Orange Fanta** pretty hard though

*Ok, I didn't really look all that hard, but still.
**On our trip to Boston, I heard a teenage girl ask her friend if she wanted a Fawn-ta.  It was delightful.

Living in California is wonderful. I don't even have to try to find the Mexican sodas, they're everywhere.

Ah, but can you find a Wunderbar/Star Bar?

If so, will you send me one? Maybe some ketchup chips too?

Mike and Dog....there are many markets in the area that cater to the Hispanic populations...you will most likely find it there.

Wait... how the hell was a spam ad allowed to get eight replies?

Sure, we're a bunch of fatties who like to talk about new sodas, but this is clearly a marketing dude trying to sell you his shit.

Come on, it's the users first and sure to be ONLY post! Fearless leader is not only slacking, but FEEDING the troll. What bizarro universe did I walk into here?

Yes, you have clearly uncovered his devious plot to sell us...um....to sell us...to sell us on the notion of soda with "real" sugar in it. And to think - I walked RIGHT into that trap!

I played GTA3 the other day, then drove home immediately afterwards. BAAAAAAAAAAD IDEA. I had to mentally tell myself not to swerve all over the road and slam into pedestrians, and not to pull my car out in front of a cop and jack his cruiser.
