No longer "near death".
Passed away after a long battle with cancer.

Most remember him from Designing Women, but to me, he'll always be Hollywood from Mannequin.

THIS. The Mannequin movies will always be some of my favorites. In fact Mannequin 2 On the Move was the first movie I ever saw on my own as a teenager.

RIP, Meshach. Thanks for the memories.

Thumbs down for me. I thought they wasted Chase and Aykroyd- I don't know if they had one funny bit the entire episode. And I agree that the Improv sub-plot didn't work either, aside from a few of Peter's ill-timed John Wayne impersonations.
