In a follow-up to this thread I posted on Christmas Eve last year, the Memphis Grizzlies have now waived 31-year-old, former three-time All-Star point guard Steve Francis. He did not appear in a game with the team, nor did he even travel with them.

Well that was a hell of a contest. I had just read an article on ESPN Page 2 by the Sports Guy on how today's NBA can't compare to the NBA of the 80s, save for the Kings and Mavs, and boy he was right. I live on the East Coast, and it was about 12:
