Are these necessary for most games on Game Cube? With my N64 I ended up using a memory card for less than 5% of the games I own. Is this going to be the case with Game Cube or will they actually be worth buying this time around?

N64 was cartridge based. So most cartridges had it's own internal battery to save. The Gamecube is special mini-DVD format with no way to save onto them. And since it has no internal Harddrive like the X-Box you need a memory card definatly.

What sucks even more is that the current Cube memory cards don't hold shit worth of information.

Hmmm...I'm a tour guide so I go through this whole thing on a daily basis. A few things that set New York apart from your average "big city." Generally, if you're used to big cities, you won't have a problem in New York. 1.
