| #3 Posted on 9.7.02 2106.32 | Instant Rating: 4.42 | While it's definitely one of (probably THE) the most significant, it's not really a "moment". It was more like a period of time, which kind of takes away the drama moments like a memorable home run have. Does that make sense?

| #4 Posted on 9.7.02 2347.21 | Well, I had to go with Jackie in my top 5. Most important moment in sports history was the first time he walked onto a major league baseball diamond. Others were:
-Fisk Homerun -Buckner missing the ball -Sosa/McGwire chase 61 -Kirk Gibson's homerun
Anyone remember the joy of seeing him bash the Undertaker's motorcycle with his sledgemhammer and doing no damage and being all like, "Mjolnir will not break thine cycle? I say thee NAY!" and dumping it off the stage. - Enojado Viento says the funniest thing I've ever read on Wienerville. | The Big Kat

| #5 Posted on 10.7.02 0903.32 | How does Ichiro winning the MVP make it on the top 30 moments of all time? I could care less about a 30 year old player who wins Rookie of the Year. Winning the MVP is good, but not really a great moment. Where was Harvey Haddix's 12 inning perfect game, only to be broken up? How about the "Pine Tar" incident or something? A guy winning the MVP is just not a memorable moment for me. Most of the other ones were pretty good, though.
I voted for 1.Shot Heard Round the World 2.Jackie Robinson 3.2001 World Series 4.1991 World Series 5.Fisk Home run

I think it's funny that, right after you vote, it gives you a link to go vote again. What is this, Chicago?
