I would just like to tell everyone about my meeting with John Cena in Yonkers, NY.

I found out that he got to the store by his cousin, who had driven him there in a green jeep. Weird, I would imagine a limo. I got their around 3, and there was a huge line to get in. I saw one of my friends on line, so I cut and stayed with him. As I got inside, my friend and I got up to him with the picture that they sell in hand. He's big! his arms are enormous. He's also got a REALLY NICE watch. He was also sitting with his cousin, who I got to talk to later. I started talking to him, and he's really cool.

Myself : Hey, Cena, I'm a huge fan. But you have to go heel again. You were so much better as a bad guy.
Cena : (Laughs) I am a bad guy, they just don't know it yet.
Myself : Yeah, but that's when you had your edge.
Cena : Thanks, man. Maybe in the future.

After the autograph and a few hand shakes.

Myself : I wrote a rap for you, by the way. You want to hear it?
Cena : Really? Yeah, man, let's hear it.
Myself : It's a dis, so don't be offended or anything.
Cena : Ok, that's cool.
Myself : (I did my rap, which is really good, but I'm afraid that someone would steal it)

He looked like he was in shock, and his cousin was cracking up. The store started laughing and applauded me.

Cena : Oh man, that was brutal. Great job. (Shake hands)
Myself : Thanks. I really appreciate your work and keep up the good job.
Cena : Thanks.

I later went back in to get a picture, and Cena recognized me, and said "Oh, back for more?" We laughed and posed, we both did Word Life.

Around the end of the session, I got to talk to his cousin. I asked what he thought of my rap.

He said : A couple of people did them, but yours was by far the best. Definitely the funniest. I don't like you making fun of my aunt, though.
Myself : (Laughs) Thanks. So what do you like better, RAW or Smackdown!?
He said : Smackdown! because of my cousin, but if my cousin wasn't on it, I'd definitely say RAW.

After a chatting for a bit, Cena left, and I shock hands once again, and said
"Don't forget my rap."
"I won't."
"GO HEEL!"
"(Laughs) Ok, we'll see."

And then he drove away.

You're probably safe assuming that we wouldn't steal your great rap.

Plus it sounds so memorable that no doubt Cena would beat us down for trying to plageurise his new best friend.

So when do we get to see a picture of the two of you?

The only time I'd ever met a wrester was when I met Razor Ramon in Toronto, at an autograph signing.

A year or so ago, I met Rick Bogner, who will unfortunately be known for the rest of his life as the fake Razor Ramon...and he's one of the nicest, and coolest people I know.

So while Scott Hall may have been the real Razor, Bogner was the better person :-)

The SOK has seen the following cinematic masterpieces so far this year:

Eurotrip; Scooby Doo 2; Shrek 2; The Ladykillers; Spider-Man 2; Anchorman; 13 Going On 30.

Best: 13 Going On 30; Worst: Ladykillers.

I plan on stealing your rap and putting in on my new rap album, next to all the other sure-fire hits. But first, I have to steal movie ideas from people who post in movie forums.

Having an idea is one thing. Being able to put that idea into something worthwhile and actually make a dollar is something completely different.

That entire post made it sound like we should be more impressed with you than with Cena. Do you want to hear about the time I gave career advice to Wayne Gretzky, even though I'm not a pro hockey player?

Seriously though, it's amazing people in the public eye don't tell some "fans" where to take their advice. I can't say I'd show the same restraint in biting my tongue if some nobody walked up and gave me advice on what I do for a living.

Sounds like Cena is a pretty classy dude ... I'm with Chill in that I'd have a hard time holding back.

I too can say the only wrestler I've ever actually met is Scott Hall....sadly, I met him when my ex-girlfriend who was working as a waitress spilled soup all over him in a restaurant

He actually seemed to think it was funny. Got a free dinner out of it too

I'm not trying to show off, I just don't want people taking what I write and posting it in new forums.
Let's not make a big deal about this. I don't want to turn on RAW and read : FleaDude Fears Chill & PieMan

1: You were totally showing off, it was pretty bad.

2: Are you actually implying that you were afraid someone would go through all the trouble of stealing your rap & re-posting it as their own on another board?? That's just silly.

3: EVERYONE fears pieman, c'mon now.

It's encounters like this one that make the wrestlers fear us.

I met Scott Hall once, too, in an airport. He was sitting in an empty terminal reading a book, saying he was about to fly to Nitro. He was very nice when I approached him out of the blue.

John's fairly laid back, though.

From all accounts I hear John Cena is legit one of the nicest guys in the company. Even when he was heel, he's one of the top 5 stars who's always really cool to his fans with scheduled autograph sessions or bumping into him by chance... Here's hoping as years go by he doesn't get jaded. But he got a lot of success early and still seems really cool a year later so he seems like it won't go to his head.

I read a real nice report recently that Cena was doing an Autograph signing at some sports memorabilia convention and there was this kid in a wheel chair who was eyeing a Griffey Jr. autograph baseball bat tat cost $295. Cena went into his own pocket, gave the kid 3 bills and said keep the change... How cool is that, from what I understand there were no cameras or anything like that. So it was pretty much Cena on his own wanting to make that kid happy.

That's awesome ... it's stuff like this that makes you wanna root for the guy no matter what ... unlike Lesnar now refusing to sign anything wrestling-related ...

I'm sure many are going to say "Just another sign of WWE". But this really doesn't seem like the Big 2 concern most have with wrestlers today. He didn't look like he over did it with the steroids, he was in good shape but not freaky shape...
