I was wondering..
I got a package WWF deal for WMx8 and a 'meet & greet with the superstars' is included.
Can anybody tell me what this really means?
You get herded into some room where Billy, Michael Cole and the Bossman await you?
Has anyone had any experiences with these sorts of things and were they any cool?
My worst case scenario is that indeed you are pushed into a room with the above mentioned, the best case scenario is just another chance to stand in line for an autograph, only this time not with thousands but with hundreds. (I was at Axxess last year and that waiting sucked. I gave up and went to see Essa Rios vs Jerry Lynn instead..awesome)
I think it is a deal where people get to meet the stars. More of the lines of Austin, Rock, Hardyz. Not the Bill and Chuck variety stars. If I remember correctly, it is an intimate gathering. Not the hundreds of people at Axxess. I was at Axxess last year. The lines for autographs were stupid long. I went to the ring to see some action. K-Kwik was there. He is pretty good, no matter what people think. I just think his gimmick was retarded. I hung out with Mark Henry, who is a large human. I talked to Ivory too, she is a fine woman in person, baby got back! I also saw Billy Gunn in the ring answering questions. I wanted to ask why he didn't have a match at X7, but I didn't. I also wanted to ask him why he tried to kill Chris Benoit on PPV, but I didn't. I totally missed Rios/Lynn. I went the day before WM.
January 4th 1999 - The day WCW injected itself with 10 gallons of Liquid Anthrax...AKA...The day Hogan "Defeated" Nash to win the WCW title in front of 40,000.
here in St. Louis at the no mercy ppv they had a banquet dinner reception where you got to meet several wrestlers.... who signed autographs.... the fans came in two different waves.... at most i believe there were only 60 fans.... no lines at all... we met Hurricane and Molly (Shane is awesome to talk to... great guy), Kidman, Funaki, and Saturn. Kidman is short.... great guy though.... and Saturn's forearms are bigger than my biceps.... it was a great time!
I AM THE BEST there is, was and ever will be!!!! Dont you wish that you were me??? no?.... i've got two words for ya!
Whatever happened to Coach John Tolos, the one-time manager of the late Curt Hennig? I remember he was in Hennig's corner in Hennig's classic match against Bret Hart at Summerslam 91'. Anybody know what he's up to?
