This match list surfaced last week at Silvervision, so I'll spare our usual suspects a thread and start it myself.

This 2-disc set takes a look at the blurred reality between Vince McMahon, WWE Chairman and Mr. McMahon, TVs boss from hell, including candid comments from WWE Superstars and other members of the McMahon family. All of his most infamous moments are collected, as well as his greatest matches and rivalries.

    Special Features Include:

    Raw - 13/04/98
Mr. McMahon vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin

Steel Cage Match - St. Valentine's Day Massacre - 14/02/99
Mr. McMahon vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin

Handicap ladder Match - King of the Ring - 27/06/99
Mr. McMahon & Shane McMahon vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin

No Holds Barred Match - Armageddon - 12/12/99
    Mr. McMahon vs. Triple H

    Street Fight - Wrestlemania X7 - 01/04/01
    Mr. McMahon vs. Shane McMahon

    Street Fight - Royal Rumble - 20/01/02
    Mr. McMahon vs. Ric Flair

    Street Fight - Wrestlemania XIX - 30/03/03
    Mr. McMahon vs. Hulk Hogan

    I Quit Match - No Mercy - 19/10/03
    Mr. McMahon vs. Stephanie McMahon

Buried Alive Match - Survivor Series - 16/11/03
    Mr. McMahon vs. Undertaker
I think I liked that cover better the first time I saw it, when it was the poster for "WWF Invasion."

Dunno how you leave out the Smackdown match against Triple H for the WWF Championship, but hey, I'm never gonna pay full price for this anyway, so I'm not the person you should set out to satisfy.

Street date appears to be 8/22 in the US, and a few weeks later in the UK.

Candid comments from WWE Superstars....AKA...Ass Kissing At It's Finest.

A rarity though, a WWE DVD that I'm not even remotely interested in.

Just one thing:

DONT BUY THIS CRAP!!!

(Not even for the matches! Wait for an Austin set!!)

If you do - You can never ever complain about too much Mc Mahon on WWE TV, because you would have encouraged them by buying this BS!

I don't understand why the HBK match at WM22 is not on here. That was easily one of McMahon's more entertaining ones. I would think everybody would much rather see that than Vince vs Stephanie. Not that I'm going to be running out to buy this DVD or anything.

Ken Kennedy debuted a new finisher: Jeff Hardy fans will insist on calling it the Swanton Bomb, but it looks WAY more devastating when not performed by a 180-pound fruitcake.

Perhaps that was part of the agreement that concluded the 'Great Referee Strike of '99', that no footage during the scab ref era is allowed to be broadcast.
I think I'll take a pass on this one.

I remember really liking the Shane/Vince match on Raw where Vince busts out the Stunner for the first and possibly only time. I'd really like to see that on here rather than the Raw match vs. Austin which was just a set-up for a Dude Love run-in.

There might be a good collection of funny moments and promos, though!

Actually, since the Buried Alive match, the only Vince McMahon matches were the two against Shawn Michaels this year (which I'm guessing they aren't including as to not detract from the still new WM22 and Backlash DVDs). Otherwise, he's had nothing aside from a few non-match angle developing "matches", like the handicp match with Eugene last night.

Oh, and the McMahons are perversely entertaining - well, Vince and Shane at least, and pretty much all those matches are sports-entertainment gold (especially the ones against Shane and Hogan) and if they focus on the Montreal Screwjob to First Blood End of an Era period, I'll spend $20 on it. He was the best heel, maybe ever. I'm honestly shocked we didn't see this one a long time ago.

Well I don't think I'd get this DVD regardless but they also left off the Tag Title match between Jericho/Benoit and Austin/McMahon after Triple had gotten injured. I liked that match, that whole Canadians vs Power Trip feud was pretty hot.

So, does/has Vince put himself in the Hall of Fame yet?

For pure sports entertainment, he has been fun to watch. But we've all seen how we get tired of him after he wears his welcome out. I don't think I could sit through several of his matches all on one DVD.

If anything is on the dvd, I hope it's this (slashwrestling.com). Vince had left tv for a little bit, and his appearance that night was one of the loudest pops I think I ever heard on Raw, and certainly the loudest face pop he ever got.

Does anyone really want this DVD? I mean really? Isn't there something very disturbing about a billionaire owner of a company that nearly monopolizes the business putting out a 2 disc (!) set of HIMSELF?

Even if no one buys this, they'll buy a bunch themselves so that it comes out to be the top selling DVD of 2006.

Then next year, we'll get the "Best of Stephanie McMahon" with the birth of Damian as a special feature.

That was half Shane/half Vince, wasn't it?

From that description, I was thinking about this one. When he knocked out Shane, good night nurse.

I've said (to myself) that if they ever put out a McMahon Family DVD, I'd be all over it. From Vince peeing himself, to Shane's dancing, to Steph's "growth spurt", to Linda's. Wooden. Delivery, I've always found *some* entertainment out of the McMahon's. And it would be fun to see them try and retcon all the swerves and turns on each other into one coherent storyline.

All that said, if there's a feature on the Evolution of the Vince Duck Walk, I'd be highly tempted to spend 20 bucks on this.

(Oh, and while I'm thinking about it, is Linda still a heel?)

The same question was raised on another board recently. After watching the match back for the first time since 1999 I came to the conclusion that Shane McMahon refereeing the match in a HUGE WWF logo T-shirt kinda rules it out of any future DVD releases, unless they feel like blurring out half the screen for its entirety.

Actually, if they release a good documentary (which they probably will as there is no way those matches will take up two discs), it'll be a good DVD. If the story portion gets into his beginnings, killing territories in the 80s, getting the WWWF from his dad, steroid trials, monday night wars, attitude, Bret, etc... it'll be a fun watch. It'd kinda be like watching a history of the WWE DVD.
