John McCain announced last night on Late Show with David Letterman that he would be seeking the candidacy of the office of President of the United States. The official announcement is said to be taking place in April, but last night he dropped it on Letterman.

edit; I Misspelled McCain. Show's how much attention I pay.

Hold nothing sacred and you'll never be dissapointed. Especially not this statement.

Two years ago, I would have been all over this (even though I've never voted Republican for President). Now, I don't see much of a chance of him winning.

What this points out is the hypocrisy on both ends. For both sides it's all about the money and perpetuating their organization/cause, not solving problems or fighting the good fight. I'm not talking about the foot soldiers but the higher ups.
