First I'm not sure if this should be in TV or Wrestling but it is loosely wrestling related.
Ok, I've seen this play several time during the day on various cable channels over the recent holidays. It involves a masked "wrestler" who comes into a McDonald's and wants to eat a burger. Everybody in the restaurant is looking at him trying to the Burger. Anyways, he can't eat it so he takes off his mask and everybody reacts shocked because they couldn't believe he took it off.
Well, apparently, McDonald's has found the legacy of he "Mask" wrestler. It has made back into American Pop culture again with oddly enough McDonald's doing it.
Anyways, he fakes out everybody out buy having a fake face on and another mask on under it. The whole time this generic wrestling theme plays under the commercial...I was just wondering how many of you W's out there have caught it.
If you love your little animal friends make sure to schedule them a regular vet visit.

I saw the commercial, I believe when I was exiled in Oklahoma at my parents' house for the holidays. Its one of those McDonald's commercials aimed at the Latino demographic featuring mostly Latino kids if I can remember correctly. The wrestler is in the McDonald's eating his meal by himself with his mask on but he can't bite into the hamburger through the little mouth hole in the mask, then he starts to take it off and all the kids in the restaurant start gasping like the Virgin of Guadalupe is going to appear...then I believe he takes the mask off to reveal a human face, but that turns out to be a mask, which he takes off...continue, rinse, repeat.
Its basically a play on the whole Mil Mascaras thing.
I give it a 6.5 out of 10, but it was hard to dance to.

It IS Shocker. I had luck finding it on "Fox Sports en Espanol" the other day, if you get that channel. I think it runs once every half hour or something (but it might only be an abbreviated version of the ad)
It aired here in the first commercial break on the 6:00 Sportscenter and it's been airing regularly on ESPN and CNN for several days now. It's probably worth noting that we have DirecTv so your mileage may vary finding it on those two channels.

I caught it last night, I believe during "Lost." I keep telling the Lovely Mrs. Tracker about the sanctity of the mask to the luchadore (she never quite grasped it), and this commercials cemented it for her.

Only thing I noticed is that the mask wasn't Shocker's. It looked like an old Santo mask or something(although it's not silver), which might be part of the "shock" on the part of the Latino kids.
Does anyone have a place to go match masks with Wrestlers? I poked around and found little to go on.
I watched Lost! I deleted Lost! I never saw the commerical! Commericial skip can be EVIL.
From what I've heard, it's a unique custom mask, borrowing Pierroth's color scheme and vaugely Blue Demon's construction. It's not a real mask that he borrowed from someone; probably a costume designer creating their own idea to avoid any trademark issues.
La Arena's profiles have some mask pictures, and you can browse through Highspots' masks for sale, but there's sadly no page with just pictures of lots of masks.
