|  #1 Posted on 5.3.04 1832.55 | Instant Rating: 6.00 | The titans traded Justin McCareins to the Jets for a second round pick in the upcoming draft. The pick is four picks higher than the one the Niners got for T.O. so someones value went way up or down.
I think it is a great move for the Titans. They still have Pro Bowler Derrick Mason, Drew Bennett and Tyrone Calico to throw to, and they have been great in the draft under Floyd Reese. McCareins is headed for stardom though, so the pick needs to be solid.

If Calico can hold onto the football, he's gonna be a star ... he's got the size and speed to be the next T.O. (yes, I said that)
I hate to see McCareins go, but it is a wise move ... The Titans really need so O Line and D Line depth.

| #4 Posted on 6.3.04 0742.43 | I hate to see McCareins go but I'm happy for him getting a deal he wouldn't get here. (7 years, 3.5 million avg) The Jets may have gotten themselves a future star in the league. Certainly will help Santana Moss.
Last year McCareins had 800+ yards with 7 TD's & averaged almost 18 yds a catch, not to mention returning kicks (which he had a TD doing). Big hole in the Titans that will have to filled. Tyrone Calico, come on down!
