Maxine has quit WWE. I guess the angle of her trying to get out of NXT purgatory was a shoot.

Her music warned us that she wouldn't be around for long.

I shan't miss this person I can in no way recall. But man is the diva roster light these days.

Maxine is right up there with Maryse as Divas I enjoyed seeing on my tv no matter what they are up to.

Not sure about her wrestling skills, but I always thought she would make a pretty good Diva heel.

Maxine was getting better in the ring and really excelling as a character. If she really has left in a way I don't blame her b/c of the way WWE totally underutilizes the Divas but at the same time I really thought she had potential to be someone special there as long as creative had a program going for her. But there are Divas in FCW who are ready to come up to the main roster, it all just depends on what management wants to do with them.

NOOOOOO!

She was one of the ones that was gonna bring the Diva's division out of it's slump! She had improved so much from her horrid match with Kaitlyn back on NXT season 3. Even Regal was giving her praise on commentary towards the end of NXT Redemption's season.

I'm really gonna miss her. Don't leave us with Kelly Kelly!

Kelly Kelly's not even on the active roster right now. (The W) Next Triple H will get the blame for Maxine quitting.

That's really the problem though. If you're a Diva and your name isn't AJ, then creative hasn't had a program going for you since what, 2005?

Well, I just made up that year, but it's been a long damned time. Other than when they brought in Snookie, when have they really given the Divas the one thing that they say a male wrestler needs to get over: mic time?

Last I can think where they actually gave time out to the women to talk about matches or feuds or whatever (the stuff that makes people actually care about most of the matches) my mind keeps going back to Trish, Lita, Molly, etc.

LayCool got mic time and a couple "real" angles. Beth Phoenix/Santino was a real angle I guess but I dont remember her getting to talk much, same with Tamina/Santino. Pretty sure Farting Natalya doesnt count. I think Beth & KellyKelly fueded for a minute but they didnt get to talk. Kharma was a real angle but she didnt get to talk either. Maybe something with the Bella Twins maybe?

But yeah, I get what you're saying and it's a shame, really.

Moral: Maxine needs to hook up with a respected locker room veteran so she can get the Michelle McCool push.

It's more specifically that the WWE only cares about it's top group of people, and if you're not involved in the title feud or associated with one of the top of people, you're getting nothing to do as a woman in WWE. If someone had decided Kaitlyn was the better match for Bryan, AJ would only be showing up as Kaitlyn's friend right now.

There's no Kofi Kingston-esque midcard for them, it's all nothing. And if they've decided you're not good to be in a title match, and they don't want to align you with anyone, then they're out of ideas.

(This is why NXT was great, even if though they didn't really have any more ideas - all the women on the show seemed to be defined by who they with, who they used to be with, or who they might be with.)

Yea I forgot about the LayCool stuff. Even then, did their opponents ever really do more than cry while looking at the TitanTron?

The one piece of credit I will always give Russo is he gave everyone on the roster a chance to win over the fans. The guy had a lot of stupid ideas for sure, but at least if you were a midcard guy going for a title, you at least got a couple minutes with Coachman to say something about yourself and the other guy.

And yea, NXT is all kinds of awesome. Hopefully once they settle down from the re-launch, they can go back to involving more wacky goodness too.

I love Maxine, this is sad and her character & in-ring game really picked up on NXT, much better than most of the stuff from either gender on Raw/SD.

I think one of the issues has been that lately not many of the Divas have really been bery good talkers. You often see them get a "try out" doing commentary and it's almost always excrutiating to listen to.

AJ has been doing pretty well with he delivery, that's probably also a big reason she's in this angle. I'm not really sure what other Diva in WWE right now I could buy in a big promo. Beth maybe, but her voice kinda has a Mike Tyson quality to it; Natalya just always seems to kind of overdo it, Aksana is forever a joke angle now... I dunno... I haven't heard Tamina yet so maybe there's hope there?
