In one of the (few) let downs comming into this years WM, it seems that out of the original 6 in the WM XVI TLC match only Matt Hardy has made it to Mania this year.

Edge would've made it but is injured
Jeff and Christian will probably make cameo's (in the Womens match and HBK/Y2J respectively)
The Dudleys are in a sub fued of a match which doesn't even make the PPV.

The only conclusion i can make out of this, and it pains me to say it, is that if Edge hadn't been injured you could pencil him in somewhere definately and that would've meant that Smackdown had been cultivating their prospective future stars enough for WM while Raw is stifling theirs.

Of coarse it hurts the most to say that about Christian because i've maintained it since very early on that he'd be the Main event future star out of all these men.

I'm still a card carrying member of "People Who like Christian" though.
Browny Points for those who remember when that was first coined

Jeff Hardy said an in radio interview he hoped himself and Christian could be worked into the ppv maybe in an add on match. Hell if Christian could get on the HeAT before WM i guess i would still be happy.

Yeah, I don't understand the Christian/Jeff non-pushes. Those two both just ooze Charisma, not so much in Jeff's case as Christian's, but even still.

Maybe once Edge is back and him and Matt are both tearing it up on Smackdown, Jeff and Christian can team up as the less successful neglected brothers and kick some ass. :)

I remember when it was first coined during the WWF vs. WCW/ECW feud when Jericho, Edge, and Christian were ragging on Steph. And Edge had his Edgeheads and Jericho had his Jericholics. However he doesn't say "People who like Christian" he says "People who like to cheer for Christian" so get it right! No misquoting Christain! :)

You know, I like Christian too, but unless he significantly retools his character, he'll never be a main eventer. He reminds me of very early Shawn Michaels. He's great in the ring and good on the stick, but not the kind of persona that's ever going to win the big gold. Now, I could be wrong, and he could reinvent himself enough to get that push, but I don't see it coming.

I don't think that Matt stood the test of time, he just got a new gimmick a few months ago which is still making him interesting enough to give him a match at the biggest card of the year. Doesn't sound to me like it's because of his character.

If you think about it he did reinvent himself as a persona, and upped his performance in the ring. Would you rather see Hardy Boyz Matt in the ring at WM or Matthew Version 1? He made up with the lack of flying with solid technical--ism.

And Daniel doesn't even win a lot. I think he's lost more than he's won on television since WrestleMania, plus he's been stood up at the altar, and it doesn't matter. He retains his status regardless.
