Guerrero wouldn't have the title at all if Lesnar and/or Goldberg were there.

I would grant you that on Smackdown maybe, but not on Spike TV. Plus, (hopefully) none of the early-to-pre teens are buying PPVs.

"Guerrero wouldn't have the title at all if Lesnar and/or Goldberg were there."

Lesnar left partly because he couldn't handle that they gave the title to Guerrero with no intentions of Lesnar winning it back like in previous instances.

Back on the subject of Matt Hardy, he updated his Mattitude Website today with a new commentary. He had a few things to say about saving Lita on Monday...

"For any of you who think my actions on Monday night are going to hurt my “Mattitude,” think again. As much as I liked being one of the “extreme” Hardy Boyz, that really didn’t portray my true character and wrestling style. That was much more down my brother’s alley. When I became Version One, that was an exaggerated extensive of me, and it will always be a part of me. Nothing will change that. I think what I did Monday will lead the masses to accept and respect Matt Hardy like they never have before. Matt Hardy Version One has just begun, and I think I’ve stumbled into something that will end my “slump.” In closing, you will all rediscover Mattitude, like you never have before. Be well, and until then …"

Sounds like he'll stick with the V1 gimmick to me.

Although really, shouldn't it now be V1.5?

And even if that's technically correct, it doesn't quite roll off the tongue that well. :-P

Just like Matt did to Lita last week... With WWE logic that means Lita will hook up with Matt's evil tag partner, ummm Gail Kim???

Words of Mattitude "I think I’ve stumbled into something that will end my “slump.”

What could that be? A cheater girlfriend who interferes in all of your matches as you do all of the work but she steals your thunder and spotlight as you become the "the guy with the cool chick"... This comes to no surprise to me, the second he jumped to Raw, it was a matter of time he plays tag-along with Lita. Mattitude was done when he jumped from Smackdown, imagine how great Matt situation would be if he was on SD with that depleted roster. (and no I'm not dissing him for wanting to be with his girlfriend, all I'm saying there were alot more upswing at SD)

But hey, it's not like he's doing anything now. So playing Lita's second is better then nothing I guess. But the view from here it certainly seems like something that helps Lita overall more then Matt... Lita still can be viewed as the extreme athletic tough chick by doing all her stuff with Matt and therefore not having to be involved in women feuds or matches where she is exposed as totally outclassed. As for Matt gets to be her boyfriend.

Oh, OK... I'd forgotten about Jericho.

I'm really looking forward to see Matt Hardy in actual matches, not meaning those "matches" where he gets his *** kicked in two minutes. That guy has a potential and I think that it would be justifiable to see him wrestle.. But it can take some time I think.

If he's gonna feud with Kane I can imagine that at first he gets destroyed (that has happened already?), but my optimistic mind says that maybe they can have a good happening together (Matt&Kane). Maybe, maybe, maybe. As some people have already said maybe this will be same kind of feud than Jeff Hardy had with 'Taker. Na, I'm just wondering where this Lita-thing is gonna lead him. Mayhem had a point when saying that Matt and Lita could feud with Christian and Trish. That would be worth of seeing! Maybe that would be a better option. Maybe.

To be fair, while Matt would be in a great position if he was still on Smackdown, when he left they weren't doing anything with him. He was on Velocity more than he was on Smackdown. It makes sense that he would say, "Well, if that's how it is, I may as well be on Heat instead and travel with my girlfriend." No one can really predict what a show will be like months in advance, what with injuries and all.

They weren't doing anything w/ him in the end because they were planning to send him over to RAW. They were mainly jobbing him b/c they didnt want to hurt their talent when Hardy would be on RAW anyways.

To me, the proper methodology would be Brie getting the triumphant win here, then getting new champ Paige at NoC (winning a contender battle royal after AJ gets cheated in a Raw rematch).
