Bloom, who was running things on an interim basis, seems to have officially lost the interim part of the title. He's done a lot, including eight years in Japan. Probably commands respect in an entirely different way than DeMott did, which is a good thing.
Meanwhile, Amato is basically responsible for the insanely great women's matches NXT have been putting on. A lot of people though she was misused in the role and she should be wrestling instead, but I've always felt like it was better that she devotes her full time/attention to the future of the business - because ever since she started there has been quality stuff hapenning. It seems I'm not along on that front, as now she's the #2 person in all of developmental (Bloom #1, Triple H has the Overlord).
Generally shows on the same network are given free advertising based upon how much the network wants to promote them. You can also tell how well a local show is doing by how many promo spots are in it.
