Dave Meltzer confirmed that the Wrestler Formerly Known As Michael Shane is gone from TNA.

Since he doesn't really do the high-flying flippy-flop stuff WWE seems to frown upon now, maybe Vince can pick him up.

Maybe Uncle/Cousin/Whatever Shawn can hook him up?

That's really bad for TNA. They weren't using Bentley very much lately which is unfortunate, but after losing great performers such as Kazarian and Kash, they really should've done more to try and keep Bentley.

Man, I was really digging Michaeeeerrr... Matt Bentley. Any reason given on why he is gone? Did he leave? Did they release him? Too bad Kazarian is now on his way out of WWE, he and Bentley made a nice tag team in TNA for a while and certainly could've had a nice spot on Smackdown somewhere.

And of course I now wonder what they will do with Tracy, it's bad enough she's the only woman, but now they don't have the person she's most been associated with.

Supposedly TNA offered him a new contract and Bentley didn't like the offer.

If he goes to WWE...hope something will happen for him there.

But now we'll never know who has the better superkick between Bentley and James Storm!!!!.....

What was the deal with his name change, anyway?

Matt Tracker: Great comix this week. But why not use the Trojan corner to feature the adventures Al Wilson?
DEAN: Al Wilson rides it bareback, my brother.
Matt Tracker: Waitress, I won't need this omelette after all, thanks.
DEAN: He's too much of gentleman to assume that the lady he is with would have a disease and he's man enough to raise any offspring that should arise. HE IS AL WILSON.

His old name was the same as one of the Shane Twins, and the twins have the rights over it (since it's their real names and all).

It's good to see that the WWE isn't backing away from Batista or Cena. There's still some questions lingering over a few of the draft moves they either made or didn't make (Jericho being a prime example), but the stage is set for a solid run to Summerslam that may send the indicator down. The longer Triple H stays away is also a plus...

I enjoyed the show. It was surprising to get both the Styles reveal and the Abyss return on the same episode, but I like the added vibe of unpredictability that provided. The Storm promo was great. He has a cool looking farm.
