DC felt like a light month for September, though I was admittedly a little out of it. Marvel's got some good stuff coming this month. Get the whole list at IGN Comics
Notable titles include:
SECRET INVASION #6: Secret Invasion hasn't caught my fancy, but this issue's big selling point is the reunion of Captain America, Iron Man, and Thor. Of course, it's Bucky America and Post-Ragnarok Thor, but it's still worth noting.
ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN #126: Peter Parker is Venom! And the Ultimates seek to take him down.
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #570-572: A huge month for 616 Spidey. Issue #570 shills a three-way grudge match between Spidey, Venom, and Anti-Venom, #571 teases a fight between the Green Goblin and new character Menace, and #572 brings Bullseye into the mix. I've hated BND, but I'll be around for this month.
CAPTAIN AMERICA #42: The big conclusion to Ed Brubaker's monumental story arc, featuring a final throw-down with the Red Skull.
HULK #6: The second and final battle of the Hulks, as the Green and Red Hulks go at it for all the marbles.
X-MEN: MAGNETO - TESTAMENT #1: Greg Pak attempts to write the definitive origin of the Master of Magnetism. Those looking forward to the eventual Magneto spin-off film might have some interest in this one.
Looks good here. I'm especially surprised at the potential quality of the Spidey titles.
This is a lighter week and looked to be highlighted by the Blackest Night prologue in this week's Green Lantern. Instead, Marvel gets the icon, by bringing someone back from the dead...and inducing A LOT of painful memories.
