LOL ... assuming that IS Marty's site (and apparently MySpace has a lot of fakes, so I don't know), he's got a couple amusing, shall we say, remarks in there. First off, people are asking him to prove it's really him by posting a photo with him holding a "MySpace" sign. His response:
"Yes maybe that is the way to go, but, Ive seen other people do that and it seems so gay...no offense meant to any gay folks..."
Then someone bemoans how his probation officer is harming him in trying to get a job -- when that's what their goal should be -- and he responds with:
"You are right about that...no parole,or in my case, probation officer should hinder you from a professional career....especially if the name of their game is rehabilitation, taking a job or professional career from someone is doing just the opposite...thats why we all know here in Florida it's not about helping you get your problems fixed, it's about keeping you in their system so they can make their money off you...assholes!!!!.. after all this is the crooked ass state that fixed the election in 2000...need I say more???"
Not the way to influence folks, Marty. Don't call the man who can harm your career opportunities an asshole. lol.
1. Marty Jannetty takes himself way too seriously.
2. Despite supposedly turning his life around, he makes the same mistake I see a lot of people make who are trying to recover from an addiction or self-destructive lifestyle: his finger is pointing in every direction except where it should be (inward).
Don't be fooled; Marty's the one who got behind the wheel under the influence, endangering lives and resulting in his current legal situation. If that is him on MySpace (which supposedly from all accounts it is), then he really shouldn't blame the "system" for screwing him over, when his chemical addictions and choices he's made have done a fine job of that over the past ten years.

"Doubt f***s everything. Take a foundation, no matter how strong, sprinkle generously with doubt, and watch it crumble. Me? I'm unf***withable. Not this knee, not bad weather, and certainly not the many men that wish bad intentions on me can stop me. I rise up, not like a phoenix, but like the zombie corpse of Dick Murdoch. This brainbuster is for you." - C.M. Punk

As a big, flaming liberal, I'd just like to say how proud I am that Jannetty is apparently a Democrat. (Though I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up voting for Pat Buchanan in that election, if you know what I mean.)
Jannetty's MySpace is some pretty sad stuff. I think I got a little misty over his pining for his 24-year-old(!) ex-girlfriend, especially her photo and its incredibly pathetic caption, "My ex, she was so pretty."

The division of the talent roster doesnt really bother me so much, Im still in "wait and see" mode with that. If it gets more people on TV and puts guys like Booker in the main event mix Im all for it. As long as Steph goes away Im happy.
