With Teddy Long as his mouthpiece I can't say as it would do much harm. Hell, even if he beats RVD three weeks before Armaggeddon then loses it back to him at the PPV, at least it'd be something different from the van Dam/ Booker /Jericho/Christian combos.

Ohh I don't know if I'd put Hurricane on that list, he sells tons of merch and gets a pretty decent reaction when he comes out. He got a great one on Friday @ the houseshow I went too.

I really don't like the idea of a guy like Mark Henry being a secondary champion (which I also didn't like BigShow being U.S champ). These big monsters, I don't think makes good secondary champions. It's not for the reason you might think (not liking them as performers). It jsut doesn't look right seeing them lugging a title around, even for their image. Guys like that should be in it for hurting people not gaining prestige in titles. Just my opinion.

But Mark Henry hasn't been as awful as usual. He was always top 5 in the "Oh where's the remote" guys in wrestling. I hated the Mark Henry World's strongest man let me show you my test of strength guy. He's still bad in the ring and all, but his portrayal is much better, he is fitting well on Raw as the big thug of a man... Problem is Rodney is all about thuggin and buggin and now Mark Henry is just a bigger thugger and bugger. They have two guys who kind of have the same philosophy. I think Rodney might be slightly a better wrestler (only because of a great match he had with Spike in the white boy challenge). But Henry has a better presense for me.

Just thinking Teddy's group is really on the injury jinx, Rodney, Jazz and Nowinski all on the DL.

Mack is still pretty green, but he has a decent moveset, which is more than I can say for Henry. I mean, come on, a freaking bodyslam as a finishing move!?! If it wasn't for Teddy Long, nobody would even give a fuck about Henry... Hell, even with Teddy Long's great mic work, fans still don't have a reason to care about him. It really is too bad that Rodney Mack got injured, because I do think he was starting to significantly improve. Henry will never be anything beyond OVW level as far as his in-ring work goes, then I worry about his opponents, because that is not somebody that I would want to be in the ring against

Jazz has been cleared since September and doing house shows. No idea why they haven't bothered to put her back on TV at all.

They're probably saving Jazz for a feud with Lita (or hopefully, a three-way feud with MHolly as well) for the Women's Championship...

As for Mack vs. Mark, I think Henry has exhibited a personality, whereas Mack has exhibited none. Also, there are more possibilities for Henry as the World's Strongest Man to appear physically imposing in the "Thuggin and Buggin" than Mack. Basically, the E never rehabilitated Mack after Goldberg squashed the White Boy Challenge, so now he's damaged goods...

I agree with most of what Madiq says about Mark's moveset.

He does have a nice military press. During the Goldberg vs. Henry match. He and Goldberg did dueling military press spots. With Ross calling Goldbergs a Military press and calling Henry's a Gorilla press.

As tousing a body slam as a finisher, I'd point out that Cena's finisher is also a bodyslam.

Mark Henry's bodyslam is the most rudimentary form, though. At least there's something unique to Cena's, which is a Death Valley Driver, isn't it?

It starts in a death valley driver position... But it then beomes a body slam. Its a body slam.

A far better body slam than Henry's but its a body slam.

Its amusing in matches where a German is a rest hold that a bodyslam is a finisher but you give it a fancy name and have folks sell for it and its a legit finisher.

During his turrets period Golddust was using a powerslam as finisher as well.

Henry could use a better finisher...but nothing inherently wrong with a bodyslam.

All that would be well and good, except Henry does not use a bodyslam as a finisher. It's more like a fall forward powerslam if anything.....

which is even lamer than a bodyslam since all he's doing is falling forward on said opponent. In fact, the way he bends his opponent like a pretzel when attempting a pin looks more painful than the actual finisher itself

It sort of starts of looking like a DVD but then he just flops the opponent onto their back, which doesn't really look either painful or impressive in my opinion. Obviously if he was to go around dropping folks on their heads then that would be somewhat frowned upon, but I just don't think the FU looks any cop at all right now.

This does not however mean that I believe Cena is inferior to Mark Henry, who in spite of marginal recent improvements, still sucks.
