Does anyone on this board have a problem with what Felt did? Stories about him always mention that many call(ed) him a traitor, but I've never met anyone that takes that position.

He did what was right, even if it did betray some people in power.

Yes. Remember, Nixon and Company had a chance to do what was right and didn't and wouldn't. Somebody had to do something and he did.

Anyone who argues that Felt is a 'traitor' is a Nixon apologist of the highest order.

A traitor to Nixon? Absolutely. A traitor to his country? Absolutely not. Nixon and his men gave up any right to "loyalty" when the crimes went down. To call him a traitor to Nixon is true, but is roughly the same as the guy at the copy center calling you a traitor because you let the cops know that HE was the one that burnt the place down.

The real question is, if his critics had to pick a side, I
wonder how many of them would truly choose to be a traitor to their country rather than their president given the guilt and corruption involved.

What is Bush supposed to do about North Korea? Clinton gave them nukes, basically. What the hell do you say to the craziest dictator on Earth to get him to listen to you, when he has freakin nukes and can blackmail most of the civilized world?
