Can some one PLEASE confirm this or is it just wishful thinking? Any other newz sites chiming? The public DEMANDS to know for sure here, and by public, of course I me myself.

Maria has been asked to follow in the footsteps of other WWE Divas and pose for Playboy, but she refused because she did not wish to embarrass her sister, who was still in high school at the time. However, since her sister has graduated, it was reported in December 2007 that Maria has posed nude for an upcoming issue of Playboy, likely coming out on news stands around the time WrestleMania XXIV takes place. In the latest issue of UK magazine Power Slam(January 2008 issue) it mentions that Maria recently stated that she would like to be the next WWE Diva to pose for Playboy.
Also it mentions in the UK Sun that she wants to pose for Playboy, so there's definitely smoke around this...

| #4 Posted on 3.1.08 1523.45 | Mike Johnson of PWInsider also confirmed this yesterday as well. The only question seems to be wether she posed already or not. Either way, its pretty much a lock now that she'll be the yearly naked diva for the WM issue of Playboy.
My only hope is that they didnt airbrush her photos to hell like every other diva has. It will be nice though since most of the other girls who have posed in recent years have been naked previously. Too bad Stacey Keibler never got to pose.

Maria will be virtually unrecognizable after they give her the same hair, costumes and poses as very other woman they've photographed in the last ten years. Might as well paste her head onto any random pin-up.

Except for Jillian, Maria is the Diva I would least like to see in Playboy. Couldn't they have gotten Mickie James or Layla or Michelle McCool or Melina or Victoria (who has already mentioned she would more than willing)? Meh, the pics in Playboy are already altered to unrecognizability (I think I made that word up) as it is.

Uh, damn. I'll admit it, I'm there with you. I don't think I've ever agreed with your opinion on anything in the past. The only difference however, I will be happy to have my crush corrupted.
