-This week's edition of Raw did a 3.8 cable rating, with a 5.6 share. That is down from last week's 3.9 and probably not what WWE was looking for two weeks before Mania. The show did hours of 3.7 and 3.9.
Weekend Numbers(last week in brackets): Velocity 0.9 (0.9).. Confidential 0.6 (0.6).. Heat 0.9 (1.0)-
Raw got 3.8 with hours of [3.7, 3.9] which is down from last weeks 3.9 [3.6, 4,1]... The more I think of it the more I think they should have switched the 10PM and 11PM segments. If Rock was on the top of the second hour the last hour would have such a buzz wondering if he'll be back. The first hour was actually higher this week then last, I'm guessing because of the Rock hype but if the Rock showed up at 10PM it would shoot the ratings way up at that Q-hour and keep it and with a pretty strong main event with HBK/Benoit vs. Orton/Batista the second hour could have had the same spike as last week which would have had the overall number over 4.0 (of course just guessing)

| #2 Posted on 3.3.04 2052.54 | Instant Rating: 4.23 | Keeping in mind that the Rock's return was the biggest news of the night and the WWE still needed to put focus on their world title match, having the Rock's return at 10 and Evolution in a tag match at 11 would mean that Rock and Foley would surely have to make an appearance in the main event some how. And that would totally overshadow Benoit/Michaels.
With that said, the perfect way to head into Mania:
Benoit/Michaels/Rock/Foley vs HHH/Flair/Orton/Batista
That = ratings.
Obviously, that wouldn't make sense because that would give away some of the aura of the eventual Mania tag match, and the fact that they have tried hard to separate HHH and Foley. But man, this would be a great way to get that last sell, with the end being some type of screwjob where Rock and Foley drive off the three men away leaving Benoit and Michaels beating on HHH. | redsoxnation

Latest sign RSN's mind might be fading: The new plan is to vote for Jerry Remy's Wally the Beanbag Buddy as the Democratic Primary for President. |
