| #1 Posted on 1.2.02 1020.43 | I always enjoy sharing this with folks, so I figued I would drop it off here too.
Some fine Simpsons folks put together an interactive Map of Springfield. The whole site can be found Here
It can be freakin' huge but fortunately, they have a variety of sizes.
Enjoy
Phil
Going to see if the Road to Springfield will return this year.

| #2 Posted on 1.2.02 1045.46 | The Simpson's place is quite a stroll from Moe's, a walk that Homer makes regularly...I seem to remember in one episode Homer turning RIGHT out of Moe's, away from his house, and going through the woods to find the "alien" (X-files episode). Why the hell would he go right?? I know he was drunk, but THAT drunk?? This inconsistency has enraged me...and by Gawd, someone will pay. Other that that, great map!!!

| #6 Posted on 1.2.02 1806.11 | What's really funny is trying to play the Simpsons Road Rage game, where they try and stick enough things together to make a level in the game.
I mean, once you get to the Dam level, you got some random things as KBBL, Kamp Krusty and a bunch of stuff I don't even remember.
Besides, how can you have a map of Springfield when you don't even know what state it's in?

I'm fairly sure that the powerplant was from the backyard, and the fence was away from the house.
But you could be right - I haven't seen the Stonecutter's Episode more than a couple of times.

They're from nothern Kentucky. It was in the "Behind The Music" episode. And yes, they're really is a Springfield, KY in the northern part of the state. I've been there and its pretty much empty.

Ah, but here is the rub...
when they reshowed the BTM episode, the reedited the footage so it said Springfield, Missouri. And I am pretty sure that they change it everytime the episode is shown.
So alas, we still don't know for sure.

| #11 Posted on 3.2.02 1150.29 | It's CLEARLY stated that the "actors" who play the Simpsons live in Kentucky. Remember, in Behind the Laughter, they are just actors and Springfield doesn't exist.
Besides, that episode like all the Halloween episodes take place outside of continuanity. Kang and Kodos should've tipped you off.

| #13 Posted on 4.2.02 1004.33 | I always kind of assumed Springfield was in Missouri. Isn't Matt Groening from MO? Plus there are a few MO jokes sprinkled throughout the series, like why Granpa's flag only has 49 stars.
