Manny Ramirez says it's his last season with the Los Angeles Dodgers
GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Manny Ramirez appeared in the Dodgers' clubhouse for the first time on Monday morning and promptly conceded this would be his final spring training with the club.
"I won't be here next year, so I just want to enjoy myself," Ramirez said. "I don't know [if I'll play next year]. I just know I'm not going to be here. When the season is over, I will see where I'm at."
It makes me wonder why the Dodgers are investing so much in him. They even named a freakin' section of the seats after him, for cripes sakes! I wonder how his reaction on Opening Day differs from the reaction he got last year?

He is close to 40 so I don't know if other teams would jump the gun with this guy; he may be still able to hit, but wherever he goes, some type of news is sure to follow. |
