| #21 Posted on 19.2.02 1929.08 | Ironically, one of my favorite parts of Wienerville IS a continuing conversation...the "as it happens" threads that have started popping up during RAW and the PPV's (but never Smackdown for some reason). Those online jump in with their thoughts as the show runs.
Those kinda things work so much better if everyone of those involved just get a common instant message service between them and set up a chat room.

Dude, do we have the same job?
BTW, CRZ, I make no excuses for posting a lot. I have a very boring job, and no supervisor, so I use the internet. I like this board, I like the people on it, and I like your recaps. So you have a lot of people who like your work jumping around and being idiots on your messageboard. Wish I had your problems....

Oooooh, you meant CubsFan.
Personally, I like the Show threads here. It's much easier to read the board than it is to read words flying by in a messanger, and plus you're more likely (likely) to think about what you're saying before you say it.

Can I agree with the part about "easier to read" while still disagreeing about the "more likely to think about what you're saying" part?

I agree what you said about the 16 and 15 yearolds but,
CRZ here is a question, Why do you have these levels, EXP, and projected date to 5000 posts if obviously posting so much is a problem for you?
I feel that this forum is alot better than ezboard, no pop-ups etc. Just confused on why you are making a big deal about this when other sites would brag about all the posts they recieve.

It came with the software...believe me, I'm not a big fan of it. Especially when people go "ooh, look at YOUR numbers" when trying to make a counterargument. Duh, I'm the admin - of COURSE I have inflated numbers. I feel that this forum is alot better than ezboard, no pop-ups etc.
It takes more than no popups to make a board "great." This board ain't close to "great." A lot of that blame needs to be placed at my feet because I simply don't devote the time to it to make it what I want to be....it's much, MUCH easier to point out things I don't like than to set an example and encourage others with things I like. Just confused on why you are making a big deal about this when other sites would brag about all the posts they recieve.
Well, come close and I'll let you in on a little secret: other sites usually SUCK. Whipping out your dick and telling everybody how many (x) you have is usually an indication. (Now, saying that, I'll still put up a blurb on the main site when we pass a million pageviews ;-) )

With a message board you take the good with the bad. I think I understand what CRZ wants but I have no idea either about how to make it happen. I think some people post too much and post too many useless topics but there may be some who could say the same about me.
Damn, I now also understand what it is like to ramble on thinking you have a point only to realize you haven't made one. You the man CRZ! I don't know how you deal with it!
Was that good sucking up? ;)
