So Heyman as Brock's manager, that works. Hell, I miss the days of Slick, of the Brain, Jimmy Hart.
Ya know, the WWE should incorporate more manager type characters into their shows. Maybe use the older/suckier workers as new manager figures, get some value out of the dead wood.. and as an added plus keep 'em from actively wresstling. Like maybe the Godfather as a Don King type character. Or have Bull Buchanan be Knoble's redneck uncle. naw, scratch that. Jamie's doing fine on his lonesome. But you see.
of course we all see how D-Von's stint went...maybe not. but the failure of the D-Von/Batista thing could of course be attributed to D-Vons inherent suckiness.
But Noble *did* get over due to a manager-like character - one of the very few women in wrestling who's character is over just as much as her tits.
In fact, you would think that they'd notice some correlation between the fact that the most over of the "new blood" - Brock Lesnar and Jamie Noble (Rey doesn't count) - are the two with an interesting second at ringside.
EDIT: I said "few", not "the only". Molly's character is over. Stephanie's character is over, no matter if we like it or not.

Sunny? Businesswoman? What of the evil tricks she played on poor Phineas? Or how she messed with Poor Billy's head, the lon-term ramifications clearly driving him into the loving arms of Chuck and his brother Bart to Japan?!? =)
Sunny added to the product in certain ways early on, but in time added nothing but eye candy, and eventually even the eye candy was the equivalent of a Good and Plenty.. not too good but plenty of it. Remember when farooq started out? or the (ha) LOD2000?
and yes, Nidia rocks. I don't understand how it is that Knoble(am I spelling that right? whatever) likes sharing her around the locker room.. I'd think the redneck gimmick would lead him to beat the bejusus out of people for even looking at his girl.
My favorite thing about Nidia? She dumps Jamie, instant face turn for him, immediate heel heat for whoever. I say put her with Kidman, maybe he'll develop a real personality.
Your posts are good and so far have been interesting but please don't end every thread and post with "discuss" or "thoughts people" or something like that. It gets annoying (to me, anyway). We are all here to "discuss" and give our "thoughts".
Hope this didn't sound mean. It's always good to see fresh wieners who don't suck. :)

Originally posted by A-MOLOn a semi-related note, the "Flair as manager" rumour is rearing it's head again. Are we going with Benoit again, or are there any other more likely candidate for Slick Ric's services?
Since it would make no sense (and isn't that way things exist in Comic Boy's Land), Flair will become the manager of Jericho, and Flair will pass the Nature Boy name onto Jericho.
Thank you Mr. Wanz for the check, now you get an AWA World Title Reign. But be careful, my boy Greg is a heat machine.
I always thought that a good way to use Terri would be as a manager, an evil, bitchy heel stable leader. Have her get really involved in matches and interfere often, a la a Sensational Sherri. A real old-school heel valet, except more of a manager role (like Trish with T&A).
I seem to remember a point where it seemed like Flair was going to be RVD's manager, during the Flair/Vince fued. Ric was backing Van Dam in a match, and Vince was backing y2j. at the end of the match, a big brawl ensued, ending with Flair and Van Dam applying the figure four to the heels. i think Ric as RVDs manager could work well, actually.
They were on WWE En Espanol that day too. It looks that also has been taken down. Or at least, I can find no references to them in the link on that page. (Disclaimer: I took two years of Spanish in high school, but I'm not very good.) Impactwrestling.
