I have his YRG book (The W at Amazon), which:
1) is completely ineffective if you buy it and leave it unreaad on your shelf,
2) is apparently out of print and now worth way more than the $10 I paid for it, and
3) features a young, buzzcutted, and - yes - dashing Cody Runnels as one of the models who demonstrates proper yoga form

I work a rather physical job, and YRG really helped me with my resultant back pain. DDP does a really good job of explaining the various positions, and it's improved my flexibility a great deal. I would check it out, for sure.

Would you say it's more "any yoga is good for you" or specifically "DDP's yoga is good for you?"

Possibly! YRG incorporates a lot of cardiovascular as well as strength training exercises, so as a program I think it is pretty good. However, I don't really have a lot of knowledge of other yoga/exercise DVDs, so I don't have much basis for comparison.

It's only worth it to me if this is on the DVD:
