Oh man...I'm really digging this game. I scored it used at EB Games for twenty bucks....and it ate up a good percentage of my weekend. I'm stuck on FAIRPLAY (the car race) but I figure I'll have it beat something this week.
My main question: everything there's someone speaking, their voices are very high pitched (like the chipmunks on helium or whatever) and after looking around, I can't find a way to fix that.
Can anyone pass along any information on that? I wouldn't complain if there was a subtitle option in the game, but there isn't such option, IIRC.
I can't wait to beat it...even though I've seen the ending already.
Mafia is pretty awesome. I don't think I ever ran into the high-pitched voice thing, but I remember having to install a patch from the manufacturer to get rid of some bug in the game that kept popping up. Assuming you haven't already tried that, maybe there's a patch that fixes the speech, too.
Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles (1up.com) From the way the graphics look, it reminds me of Contra: Shattered Soldier on the PS2. Also, as a bonus, there's the complete, original TurboGrafx-CD version of Rondo (NOT the SNES version)
