I think everything but the finale has been filmed already, so if you haven't been avoid spoilers don't tell me and I will think you are amazingly good at predictions. I can't promise any Canadian treats, but maybe KJames will send you something anyway.

There look to be some good match-ups in the Mae Young Classic this year. I ultimately picked Toni Storm to win, possibly to become the first NXT UK women's champion. You could also make a strong case for Io Shiri, Deonna Purrazzo or Mia Yim. Elder stateswoman Meiko Satomura could go far as well. I wouldn't rule out The American Ninja Warrior lady either- she's famous for something, after all.

It's the most important meal of the day.

I also went with Storm, who's about as WWE-ready as a wrestler can be. As with the Cruiserweight Classic, some of my picks are a bit slapdash. But I'm pretty confident in my final four.

I picked Shirai because she's my favorite but I do honestly feel like Toni is probably going to win. The main reason being that last year they gave Kairi great match ups in every round to make her look awesome the whole tournament and that looks like how Toni's path looks this year.

But screw it! I love Io, I'm picking her. Meiko will probably go far as well, but they always put the wrestlers under contract over the ones not on contract. I'm sad we're not getting Shirai/Satomura though. They could easily have the best women's match in WWE history.

No Marti Bell? She must have really screwed up that match against Rachel Evers to not get a second chance after getting pushed so hard in the promos last year.

I thought the first episode was really fun. The announce team is great; Renee was really strong here, and I though Beth Phoenix added a lot. And I won't ever get tired of Michael Cole getting legitimately invested in a wrestling match. Meiko is everything people said she was, and even though she didn't win, I really like Vanessa Kraven and I'd like to see more of her. Biggest surprise (not literally, that was Vanessa) was Zatara, who had a really strong showing, I thought. Looking forward to more of these.

I actually thought the booking of the first two matches was weird just because Tegan and Rhea are both people the WWE are clearly behind. I thought they'd win a little easier? I guess they're trying to give everybody time to shine but I think they should still push certain women stronger than others, Rhea especially could've used a squash in the first round.

I really liked the third and fourth matches though. Despite the one botch Lacey had some pretty cool looking spots and that was a fun size vs. speed match. I never believed Lacey was too small to win either, which is a problem I have in just about every Alexa Bliss match. And then the 4th match Meiko is great and Killer Kelly is someone I just discovered but really love so far.
