I remember reading at Cinescape.com that cartoon net picked up Yamoto/Starbalzers a couple of months ago, was this true and if so, when will it start airing?

And on the subject of cartoon network NOT canceling in house shows, they really need to, cause that god awful new Transformers show is just an atrocity to mankind. Transformers should NOT feature pokemon looking humans. It pains me to try to watch it and it just plain sucks SO bad...

This is assuming they are the ones behind the show, of course and if they are not, did anyone at the corperate level watch this shit before buying it? That shit's worse then freaking ZOIDS for christs sake!

Jkyle.com says:

Starblazers only played online at their website so far.

And Zoids Zero is abysmal, but Chaotic Century rules all.

It's not that bad at all, and Kenshin's english voice really fits him. Different than his Japanese voice, which also fits him (at first I thought it felt out of place, but it grows on ya). They do drastically cut down on the number of "oro"s though.

Well, I would rather see a subbed version of Card Captor Sakura on Cartoon Network than Trigun, although I do love Trigun. Shojo anime can be just as interesting as shonen, and I find shows as different as Revolutionary Girl Utena and Berserk just as good. It's just that the shojo shows than come over are always butchered in translation. Sailor Moon and (uggh) Cardcaptors are light years behind Bishojo Senshi Sailor Moon and Cardcaptor Sakura.

And if Cartoon Network wants to raise it's cred even more, they could get CLAMP's X-The TV Series. Holy crap, now THAT is a masterful show. Get ready to have your emotions played with, and you'll love every minute of it, especially from the middle of the series on.

I agree, X is certainly something to behold.

Speaking of Starblazers, whatever happened to that Toonami Reactor anyway? I remember looking for it a while back, and couldn't find it on their website. Did they get rid of it? If so, are they gonna bring Patlabor and Starblazers to TV? Anyone here have any idea?

As for Transformers Armada, I think it came out to coincide with the new comic book of the same name (and concept) from Dreamwave Studios. I agree. It, along with the new He-Man, sucks real hard (I think He-Man gets the edge, though.)

Having never gone to one of these events, I didn't know what to expect. I've lived in San Diego now over 10 years and always wanted to go. Despite all the rage, I never went. Until today. I was lucky to get a free pass for the weekend.
