Makes sense to me. This guy is the only player worth a damn on his team, and he still puts up amazing numbers each and every year. The fact that he gets the yards that he does behind that line playing on a team against which you could reasonably put eight men in the box on every play is outstanding. He's worth every cent.

Firing a coach after two years always seems to reflect more on the people who hired him (the owner, in the case) than the coach themselves. Am I right in assuming McDaniels lost the confidence of everyone in town that quick and earned his firing?
