Is there any celebrity out there that you can say at one point you loved/hated but now either hate/love them?
For me it is Alec Baldwin. I hated him early in his career. I could not stand him or his brothers. I thought he was a pitiful actor and person. I was so glad when Kim Bassinger (undeservedly) won the Oscar because I knew it had to be killing him that his wife got one before him.
But now, I have really come around to him and think his acting has gotten much better and his comedic timing is awesome. He is one of the best SNL hosts ever and he is awesome on 30 Rock. I loved him in The Cooler and in The Departed. I even got a kick out of him as Dennis in the SpongeBob Squarepants Movie.
I think ever since he realized that he does not need to be the top banana to be a star his acting and demeanor has really changed - for the better.
As for the other way, Chevy Chase was one of my favorites when I was younger. Foul Play, Seems Like Old Times, Caddyshack, Fletch, Fletch Lives and Vacation were all stellar. But he has not made a good movie since 1989 (Fletch Lives and Christmas Vacation) and has been in some awful movies and seems like a prick. Quite a fall from one of the best comedic actors in the 70's and 80's to where he is now.
Do you think God knew what He was doing when He created woman? Huh? No shit. I really wanna know. Or do you think it was another one of His minor mistakes like tidal waves, earthquakes, FLOODS? You think women are like that? S'matter? You don't think God makes mistakes? Of course He does. We ALL make mistakes. Of course, when WE make mistakes they call it evil. When GOD makes mistakes, they call it... nature. So whaddya think? Women... a mistake... or DID HE DO IT TO US ON PURPOSE?
George Clooney - used to like him and now, can't stand him.
Same for DL Hugley
In both cases, I hate their politics and their condensation.
On the other hand, I used to just hate Ellen Degenres, but I find her interesting and amusing now. Same sort of thing for Will Smith - I thought he was boring, but I am now all about his movies and appearances.
Ever hate for Bill Mahr - Ever love for Drew Barrymore
Ditto for Drew Barrymore. My love for her grew even more after "My Date with Drew". Classy lady and really down to Earth.

I guess my pick would have to be Travolta. I liked him in the Sweat Hog days, hated him in the Look Who's Talking era, loved him AGAIN during Pulp Fiction/Get Shorty, have hated pretty much everything he has done since then.
Honorable mention: Never really hated Alec Baldwin, but never cared either way. But now, I love the guy.
Tom Cruise. At one time, maybe the most consistent movie star out there, now I just wish he would go away. Or at least shut up.
Dean! Have you been shooting dope into your scrotum? You can tell me! I'm hip!
I used to hate Richard Dean Anderson but my teenage daughter became an SG-1 fan on SCI-FI and he was eminently likeable and while not an academy award winner, he could knid of act, unlike McGyver.
And unlike AWA, I hated Clooney on E.R. but after he left for filmdom, I love him. I ignore stars politics on either side.
I don't tend to go hate -> love. I have a few that have gone from like to hate, though.
Billy Crystal Robin Williams Whoopie Goldberg Tom Hanks Tom Cruise Jim Belushi Tim Allen Danny DeVito Stallone (this one is off and on) David Letterman
I'm sure there are more.
Garfield, the comic strip. Family Circus Peanuts (sorry).
Steve Carrel. I loved him before THE OFFICE, now I just cringe whenever I see him. Too much Michael Scott sometimes, I think.
Another love to hate is the Olson Twins. I loved their older movies and their stuff on Full House, but when they became useless tabloid filler, I started to dislike them.
I've seen TWO movies so far this year: Because I Said So - (3*); Borat - (5*)
I loved almost anything by the Waynes brothers during the early to just past the mid 90's. Now I can't stand most of their stuff. It just seems so recycled.
Hate to Love; Country music
I hated country music growing up. I grew up surrounded by it because of my family. I did everything I could to get away from it. I became one of the "trend" hating dirty jean & old flannel wearing grunge rock rocker kids. Funny thing, that turned out to be a trend itself. Those that participated would not have admitted it at the time but anti-trendy attitude led to one of the biggest trends of the 90's.
Anyhow, over the past ten years or so I've really come to enjoy Country music. I own a few box sets of my favorite artists and even have a station programmed on my car stereo. Although I haven't abandoned my rock roots, I would have never imagined I would enjoy country even one smidgen.
Hate her condescending view of how her politics should be everyones, just because she can sing. I still remember her calling an Arizona radio station when Arizona looked up in the air during the Bush/Gore election, just to "urge people to go out to the polls". The host became my immediate favorite when he called her on it and railed on her assuming everyone would listen to her. It was great.
I also loved the South Park episode with the Mega-Streisand
love -> hate: Tom Cruise Kevin Bacon Lindsay Lohan Emilio Estevez Charlie Sheen The Wayans Bros
didn't care -> hate: Dixie Chicks Britney Spears Brad Pitt Jennifer Aniston Angelina Jolie Billy Bob Thorton
didn't care -> love: Will Smith
hate -> love: ...hmm, drawing a blank on that one...
Looking back through the 'hate' lists, I'm seeing a pattern of people that either tried to force their opinion on the rest of us or have made it known to the rest of us that they are completely out of their FREAKING minds, possibly both.
Oh, except the Wayans: they just stopped being funny. Compare Major Payne to Little Man. Maybe it's just Damon that's 'Movie Funny'. Keenan was 'Sketch TV Funny', but I haven't seen anything funny from Shawn and Marlon. IMO, of course...
Love - Hate (Okay, that's a strong way to put it...)
Pee Wee Herman - Pervert.
Ben Affleck - Okay, Good Will Hunting was a good movie, and showed up in Mallratz and Dazed and Confused. Then there was J-Lo...
Jennifer Lopez - First saw her when I was 14. That should explain everything.
Everybody from 'Jackass' - Again, I was in high school...
Jon Stewart - I used to think he was brilliant, funny, and spot on. Then he got stale when he starting making jokes about only one political party.
Metallica - Cliff Burton died, Kirk Hammett went into Rehab, James Hetfeild went to AA, and Lars Ulrich started thinking like he was more than a mediocre drummer. What's around today is NOT the band that put out Master of Puppets. Hasn't been a good album since ...And Justice For All (the Black Album being the most overrated peice of tripe ever).
Chris Cornell, Tom Morello - Soundgarden rocked. Rage Against the Machine rocked. Audioslave sucks.
Hate - Love (again, more like dislike to like, but still)
Megadeth - They sound more like old Metallica than Metallica does.
Blues Traveler - Thought they were corny, couldn't dig their sound. Then I saw them live.
Johnny Damon - Put on Pinstripes.
Hold nothing sacred and you'll never be dissapointed. Especially not this statement.

A friend from work had a second job in a restaurant. She fixed me up with a girl that she worked with at the restaurant. I met her we hung out at a bar and decided to go out.
