Minnesota Vikings Daunte Culpepper, Bryant McKinnie and Fred Smoot have pleaded not guilty to charges related to the team's bye-week boating party, according to court records.
A court clerk told The Associated Press that attorneys for the three players entered the pleas in a suburban branch of the Hennepin County District Court and each waived initial court appearances that were scheduled for Thursday.
A pretrial conference for all three was set for February 2.
Culpepper, McKinnie, Smoot and teammate Moe Williams each face three misdemeanor charges related to the October boat party on Lake Minnetonka. The four were charged with indecent conduct, disorderly conduct and lewd or lascivious conduct.
Williams' attorney, Joe Friedberg, said he'll enter a similar plea for Williams on Thursday. -----------------------------------------------------------
I've said this before, but I really don't see any of these guys paying more than a $500 fine each and that'll be it.
Well, the other "big" QB hasn't really acquitted himself that well this year, but as evidenced by his career, it may not be all his fault. Besides, who said Lorenzen couldn't move to another position?
