After nearly two weeks of haggling with the Buffalo Bills, and with agent Tim McGee as well, the Atlanta Falcons finally decided on Friday morning that Peerless Price is right for them.
ESPN.com has learned that the Falcons have agreed in principle to send their first-round choice in this year's draft, the 23rd overall selection, to the Bills in exchange for Price. Although the Falcons have scheduled a Friday afternoon news conference to announce the acquisition of Price, the deal still must be approved by the league.

| #5 Posted on 7.3.03 2040.32 | Price thrived as the #2 reciever as Moulds fought through the double teams, I think he is going to struggle as the #1 reciever unless the falcons can find another Big reciever to complement him. I think he is this years Alvin Harper.

| #7 Posted on 8.3.03 2031.55 | I think Price is going to be more successful than Alvin Harper, simply because he is going into a far better system. What did Harper have around him when he went to TB? Price is going into a system with the most dangerous weapon in the NFL in Vick, 2 solid RB's in Dunn and Duckett, and a compliment of decent #2 level receivers (Finneran, McCord, Crumpler)
This team is going to be tough. Very tough. And Mike Vick just became my #1 fantasy pick next year.

I totaly agree w/ you brick. I've watched Price play here in Buffalo since the beggining and he didnt have a productive year until 2002-03. WOW!! guess who showed up in town last year, thats right.. Drew Bledsoe. Now not to say that Michael Vick is'nt an amazing athlete, but so far passing the ball isnt his forte', he thinks w/ his feet, kinda like another Bills QB that comes to mind, super elf Doug Flutie. And when Flutie was here Prices #'s were lower.I think mostly the reason for this was because he doesnt have the strength that an Eric Moulds has to break coverage and give a scrambling QB like Vick or Flutie, a chance to get a quickly timed pass off. I predict that Price will get betweeen 75 and 80 catches but nowhere near the 94 he caught here as the #2 reciever despite what he and his agent think. And as a Bills fan I'm very glad that they got anything for Price seeing how he was going to move, but a 1st rounder, which the Bills did not have.. thats great... very pleased.
